  as a miike stan, i really wanted to like this and gave it 30 minutes of "benefit of the doubt", but this is actually just really fucking stupid, pointless, edgy, miserable shit from an ass. i can't believe this bullshit came out of the same man that made fucking Audition and Ichi the Killer. really really stupid, really bad. what a massive fucking letdown.

  i got so happy when a 12 year old shot cesar catalina in the fucking face, then got so sad when he was brought back by cyberpunk skin graft.

  the highs are very high, the lows are extremely low, it's incredibly overlong, the dialogue hurts my head, almost every performance feels phoned in, and it's the cinematic equivalent to a 2 hour auto-fellatio sequence you'd find on xvideos.

  that being said, aubrey plaza kept me interested, there is some excellent…
