West Side Story 2021
Absolutely loved it. An improvement on the classic original film. The use of Spanish throughout the film without subtitles, the latino characters being played by actual latino actors, all of the singing and dancing done by the performers portraying them.
If Tony's "love stare" seeming weak (only in comparison with the smile, shine, and joy emoting every instant from María) was the only note on the film, then sign me up. Left the theater singing and wanting to see it again soon.
