going into this film blind, with absolutely no idea what to expect, i was quite lost at the beginning. soon enough, its non-linear structure and surreal visuals that initially made it jarring drew me closer to this film. it's so beautiful. it is ahead of its time, evoking sympathy whilst giving a commanding voice to its subjects.
