A Different Man 2024
Very painful to watch, at the limit of what's bearable.
Uhhh “you have to look beyond physical appearance because you can be super ugly but super cool and funny so stay ugly and rely on other assets”.
Grotesque film, sorely lacking in subtlety and above all, completely insipid and cold, with no emotional attachment. Just creepy. Too many dubious plot twists, none of the characters' decisions make sense to me. Then cringe music and unpleasant as can be.

I also really wanted to like this film by our local star here in Tromsø.
As much as I like Nikolai Schirmer (or want to like him), I think he just doesn't know how to stand back and let his buddy Vegard take the spotlight.
