A very relevant movie set in a different era. Hubert, Said and Vinz all grapple with the violence in their neighborhood in a carefree way, until incidents occur that call their ideals into question. The trio is already on edge because of Abdel, but the discovery of the gun lost during the riots is what really fires them up. In the end, the world is theirs…. and now every day they have to wake up falling from their skyscraper and say they are okay.

If you are a foreigner and you want to find the essence of Western culture watch this movie. That is exactly what my parents did and I’m grateful they did. It’s one of the first old, English speaking movies I ever watched and even if you only watch it once you will remember forever. The songs are catchy, some will bring tears to your eyes, and if the songs don’t make you cry the ending will. Julie Andrews there will never be another you
