The movie was executed well chronologically, and I often felt saddened by John Nash's mental condition. There were, however, a few plot holes in how the imagined characters did things that other people could see. So, while the movie packed the cinematography and emotional power, ultimately, I was confused.

It’s a simple story, and that’s ok. But by the end of the movie, I realized that it wasn’t that simple, and movies rarely are. It was spectacular to witness the complexity of depression and how Sophie doesn't detect Calum’s depression until she grows older—she plays the video tapes of their vacation alone in her apartment.
