No Other Land 2024
I knew this was going to be good but wondered how it being an Israeli-Palestinian documentary might present itself in the film. Having watched it now I really valued the dynamic between Basel and Yuval and the differences between how they approached the issue and carried the emotional burden of the work. Yuval’s naivety and Basel’s patience and resilience. Powerful stuff
