The Brutalist 2024
The first half of this movie really was compelling. I felt things really deep. I felt this bone chilling stress and anxiety. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop. Or anything to happen really. The second half of this film disappointed me in that sense. I was upset when it ended because i simply wanted more. Overall I think the themes in this movie, while intense, are necessary and worthy of recognition. I will also say the music/audio design is exquisite. easily the most impressive part for me.
