Green Bones 2024
I like that this movie humanizes PDLs. Because they are humans. I think it's interesting the way this movie went, and I agree with some of the reviews/comments I've seen that it feels very "light" in its approach; I guess with the tension it presents, it comes out this way. I enjoyed this, honestly.
Surprised to learn that the team behind this is somewhat the same with Firefly, a movie I watched last year which also made me tear up! You can really see the similarities in direction/choices. Anyway, Ricky Lee and Marilen Magsaysay GOATTTT forever
