  a cozy movie. you live life with these characters.
  at its heart the lunchbox is about lonely people connecting in the small ways they can; meals prepared for someone else, sharing food on a workplace lunch break, shouting between floors in an apartment and passing ingredients with a basket dangled out a window.
  the lunchbox is not an exciting movie, but one that makes you feel like you've known these people their entire lives. what if i joined you in bhutan?

  this movie didn’t have a big budget and the script suffered for it at times- but it was surprisingly moving and emotional, portraying a rather realistic love story complete with identity struggles. 
  it made me cry, uh, several times, and was surprisingly heartwarming. 

  (and chris’ tiny shorts were a fantastic touch.)

  what a fun movie. i haven't seen X so i am coming into this with no context but from the second the score started i was hooked. pearl can do whatever she wants, forever.
