This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
-- Went in to it expecting a Nobody/John Wick inspired film and ended up crying for the last 30 minutes after realizing there was no fighting or physical conflict for more than half the movie, slowly realizing how the ending was going to (a little predictably) play out. Knowing did not dampen the experience.
This movie was beautiful, both on its message and through its visuals - and lack of a wall-to-wall soundtrack. Most of the movie is silence, quiet…
I've never heard so many people laugh at this movie until I saw it in theaters about seven years ago.
I've also never seen that many people leave the theater in the middle of the movie.
I bet they were trying to get outside, praying to god that plants were actually killing people at that very moment.

things to be said about this movie.
Many metaphors, many comparisons, many... unfortunate truths.
Yet I don't think I have the knowledge yet to coherently piece together what my brain is telling me.
And boy howdy, is my brain telling me something.
The only thing I can say is that this movie is what I would truly call 'Horror'. Why? Lots of reasons why.
The biggest reason why is because I have no idea why.
And that itself is horrifying.
