What was great about the first one, was really lost in the second. Its like as if there is an unwritten rule, that action sequels has to be worse than the first one.
It really relies on its action spectacle like the gagdets, the sequences, the slowmotion. As if Mathew Vaughn, thought that if it is action packed, nobody would notice its mediocracy.

Right on the brink of a 4.5/5. Maybe it’ll happen on a rewatch.
I had completely forgotten how funny this film is, and how innocent and cute it is, but also how sad it is at times. This was one of maybe favourite films growing up, and for good reason. I will always remember this.
