By the Stream 2024
has all the hallmarks of a Hong film but while it was fun, pacing was kind of off. Almost gave it 2,5 but then again his films always give me so much food inspo it’s almost impossible to give them lower than 3

Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In 2024
Excellent in its genre. All the hallmarks of 80s Kowloon present for someone who played a ton of Shenmue II as a kid, including jumbo jets flying overhead. Also, considering Walking in the Air plays in an early montage, I deem this now a Christmas movie.
