Only Yesterday is the kind of film you need to lend your time to, with intention. Much like a plant, (which is apt given the whole farm setting) this story grows at its own pace, and you have to make up your mind to be there, because the movie doesn't really demand or arrest attention. It is doing its own thing, and if you happen to want to meditate, the story just leaves ample space for it.

The fun thing about The Green Knight is that from the title to advertising to the actual run of the film, this story is about everything that Gawain isn't. (Unless you read the title as a pun on inexperience.)
