  My husband is a real Batman fan and wanted to watch this film with me for ages. When we finally made it, I have to admit I liked this version best of the several Batman’s I had to endure.

  Place somehing that is regularly initiated in other countries - like in Sudan right now - to the US and suddenly it is a dystopian nightmare blockbuster and no longer a mere line on the news. Maybe we should numb ourselves with another round of a soap opera though...

  The story is still chunky after it came out of a blender full of Western, middle age fantasy and masonry ingredients, but I still like to see a woman like Sofia Boutella throw around men and aliens in slow motion.

  This „people from the same minority hindering each other from life and peace“ theme is very relatable also in Europe. We don‘t need opressors, we opress each other wonderfully ourselves, internalisation complete. A brilliant series also beyond that.
