What a performance by Lee Cobb
Why are all of the reviews factoring in Elia Kazan’s cooperation with HUAC into their reviews. It’s so pathetic that people can’t just enjoy/dislike a film without considering the director’s and/or actors’ political views. I know the way I worded it looks like I mean “separate the art from the artist” but sometimes you really have to take the art with the artist to fully appreciate and understand the art; this isn’t one of those things.
