Always love Miyazaki films. This one was definitely more abstract, but I loved the animation and how its open to interpretation.

My mom made me watch this as a kid to learn more about the state of Japan in WW2 and the affects of the fire bombing and atomic bombs. I decided to watch it as an adult and I was speechless. This movie captures the true story of a young boy and his journey to save his sister from the radiation of the atomic bombs and many other obstacles. The way the story is told…
