Atonement 2007
i cant think of a single thing i dislike about this movie. the perfect end twist and the slow reveals throughout the film we’re executed well. i just loved everything about this and it’s a wonderfully sad tale of love and loss.
the cinematography and acting were also wonderful. james mcavoy just nailed it.Translated from by -
White Noise 2022
yes the acting was great, the cinematography was on another level (wes anderson vibes for sure) and the themes were well executed but i just didn’t really love this film. by the end i didn’t feel satisfied and the “chapters” felt messy. i mean they had the whole airborne event and then kinda just returned to normal life, the airborne event kind of felt like an odd sidebar. nothing horribly wrong with the film i just didn’t love like some other films i’ve seen recently
