i was on the edge of my seat for the majority of the movie, but i felt like the ending let it down
kinda broke my immersion after spending the first 90-100 minutes in suspense just to see something as wild and cartoony as that happen out of the blue

a very dark premise. it’s presented to you in a way that lets you believe you know what’s going on immediately, when the thing you’re looking to see has already begun it’s vile work in the background. a gripping thriller that will lay it all bare yet still find a way to surprise you at each turn. stellar performance from channing tatum.

loved the cast, the desire for freedom paired with them all being younger than usual for the franchise set a more relatable yet worrying tone throughout the movie. youthful inexperience & stubbornness + inevitable evil is always a fun ride when done right - david jonsson’s performance as andy really pushes this notion forward.
fede alvarez has created something great here, seen it twice already and would go a third time.
