  they took an interesting book you can read in 2 hours, removed a lot of the women's agency & badassery, glammed and glitzed it up for purely aesthetic rich-people reasons, removed the character's backstories and somehow it ended up being 3 hours...

  i will give it it's due, it is delightfully blingy if ur in the mood for that, and there are sum fun music & dance numbers.

  Devdas is just such a piece of shit though, & there doesn't seem to be…
