Loved both NithyaMenen and RaviMohan's presence!
KadhalikkaNeramillai is not an usual rom-com; it explores a mature subject, on themes like IVF and LGBTQ. Enjoyed my idol AR Rahman's scores and music. Worked well for me but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
+ves:
*Yennai Illukudhadi and Muevelo on visuals!🤩
*Krithika's beautiful writing.
*Loved Mano's presence❤️.
*Comedy landed well in many places.
*Ravi and Nithya's chemistry.
-ves:
*Felt draggy in some parts.
*Vinay's character could have been explored more.

Viduthalai Part 2 is a film that delves entirely into Vaathiyar's perspective, with Vijay Sethupathi dominating 90% of the movie with his story telling.
This is not everyone's cup of tea, as it explores political ideologies and features a level of violence that surpasses the first part, which might be disturbing for the faint-hearted. Soori has limited screen time, but his presence, especially in the climax, is truly remarkable and leaves an impact. Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has delivered excellent background scores that elevate the narrative.
If you enjoy intense and violent themes, Viduthalai Part 2 is a must-watch from Pettakaaran!
The screenplay is one of the worst aspects of the movie. The present-day portions are filled with cringe-worthy elements, while the past sequences feel like a half-cooked dish. The Thalaivane sequence worked well for me, but the post-climax cameo was just unnecessary and awkward. These days, every movie focuses on setting up a part two, ruining the current film with a load of unwanted dumps.
Suriya, as always, was terrific. His efforts in Kanguva shine through, and we can consider…
