Bicycle Thieves is one of the most memorable films i’ve encountered. With an incredible ability to put the audience in the shoes of a father whose bike (and subsequent life) was stolen away from him. A somewhat “mundane” plot in reality, but with such rich context into a glimpse of a very stressful but common couple of days for this family. I felt transported.
