Honestly, Mickey 17 was a fun ride. The whole film worked for me, though I wish the ending was a little tighter. It takes on some very relevant contemporary themes in a slightly satirical way, leading to a poetic conclusion to all the mayhem.

Robert Pattinson was fantastic as Mickey—or rather, Mickeys—proving once again why he’s one of my favorite actors today. But the real scene-stealer? Mark Ruffalo. His character, a bizarre mix of Trump and Musk,…

It was really nice. I was invested start to end.

The film feels real. It made me laugh, feel good, and at times, it left me feeling heavy. It deals with very subtle emotions, which you feel when you identify with it.

The story follows two Jewish-American cousins, David and Benji, who travel to Poland to honor their late grandmother. Along the way, they confront personal and historical traumas, navigating grief, identity, and complex family bonds.

There’s nothing pretentious about it and that's the best part about it.

If you like drama, this one’s worth watching. You’ll love it.

    It worked for me.
The film has its rhythm, a rhythm of death hovering above your head. It's slow.
I actually enjoyed this one start to end. It was neat, with everyone doing their part just right.

Drama is my favourite to watch, if it is good. And yes this was a good drama.

I'm not saying this is the best film of the year or something, but if you enjoy drama I'm sure this will be a good watch.…

It works. The screenplay is interesting, pretty well-written, and well-executed. The best part for me was how the whole thing untangles and seamlessly leads from one thing to another. That flow in the screenplay kept me hooked throughout.

That being said, the dialogues fell short at times, especially the Tamil portions, which felt a bit unnatural.

Jakes Bejoy's background score was an absolute banger! Honestly, a lot of scenes wouldn’t have worked as well without it.…
