damn nothing like crying over Jessie Eisenberg just clutching Kieran Culkin’s back in such a tight embrace while on a 6 am flight
This was so sweet and set up so perfectly. Clocked Benji’s suicidal overextension of extroversion from the get go. The apex was the restaurant scene. The way Jesse delivers “an over dose of sleeping pills!” and then everyone is silent and Benji plays the piano…”did you know he played?” “We took lessons together.” FUCK DUDE.
This is one of the best depictions of anxiety and depression I’ve really ever seen in cinema. I’m glad Kieran got the Oscar.
