This movie reeks of The Last of Us, but in a good way. I’m not really a fan of things that reek, but here we are!
I actually loved the first act of the movie. The silence, character and story building. So simple, yet executed very well in my opinion. I think the romance portion of the movie was also done well. I find that most movies can’t have romance as a secondary theme in a movie because it always…

    Whoa!
I have so much to say. For starters, I am not a musical guy. Nothing against them, but I’ve just never found the proper interest in them. This musical may have been the turning point.

To be ridiculously transparent, I’m not up for many words in this review. Despite that, I had to come here to say: This is the best romance movie I have ever seen.

This may have been more enjoyable than the first one for me. The movie felt like it had more direction and smaller subplots surrounding the storyline compared to the first movie which felt incredibly linear. It also kind of has a Father of the Bride feel to it with the way he holds onto his daughter and the way his daughter has his first grandkid as well. Anyways, after this movie I’m doubling down on having 12 kids.

Best Performance: Steve Martin (Tom Baker)
