Less than a film, this outing felt more reminiscent of the Shrek 4-D amusement park attraction. It falls flat at attempting to fill its 2 hour runtime, with extremely boring story, characters, and settings. The cameo reveals were initially exciting, but the thrill wears off quickly when you realize that everything that makes those characters interesting is simply absent; swap out Blade or Elektra for any other character from Marvel’s roster and nothing changes. One of the most incredible cinematic joyrides I have ever experienced, RRR is simply fun as fun gets.
