Watched this for the first time at age 13 or something and it changed my world. I got a wallet with John Benders face on it. Love this movie, I think its so well-done, one of John Hughes' most well-known and in my opinion also most well-done. Every actor was made for this role. Perfectly captures adolescent emotions and fears. LOVE this movie.

Honestly, this movie made me understand the hype around DiCaprio. Great film, I loved the suspense and adventure, and the depth of emotions the characters had. Great ending.

You don't need to see the first one to watch this action-packed film. Honestly, I am not a big military movie person, but I do love some action, and I thought this was a very well-down movie (not to mention Miles Teller!) Docked some points cause its military propaganda.
