fantastic movie. lot of overt commentary and messaging but wasn’t particularly cringe bc it found its way realistically into the story rather than feeling like it was its own independent element of the plot. definitely had some interesting narrative choices + you can tell it’s adapted directly from a book at times, kinda cliche n very silly goofy but also genuinely entertaining
