I was only 2 when Katrina happened so growing up I really didn’t know too much about it. I feel like most people my age don’t. I was under the impression that it was just a really bad hurricane and an unfortunate tragedy, but it had nothing to do with fortune. Obviously there’s a reason why Katrina isn’t talked about more, which is that the government is solely to blame for what happened and they’d like for you to forget that part but man, this just made me want to throw up.
