Typical Wes Anderson: clever shots, unusual yet witty dialog, soft pace, surprising moments, and a great soundtrack. Enjoyed the characters and their love story quite a lot, both damaged but arguably not any less than anyone else, just in a way that they don't quite 'fit in'. Lots of attention to props like the binoculars, wool hat, eye patch, big glasses, etc,. that make each character very distinctive and memorable. Very fun flick, highly recommended.
