The Matrix Resurrections 2021
Embarrassing. A movie so short on ideas that they actually re-use a lot of footage (not to mention whole scenes—after stripping them down of any meaning) from the previous trilogy as flashbacks. On top of that the photography is so confused and clueless that it manages to take the fights that defined the first matrix and make them a laughable parody. I think I enjoyed ant-man more…

The Revenant 2015
A bit of a disappointment from one of my favourite directors. Lacks, in my opinion, the subtlety of his previous movies and results a bit too “hollywoodean” in the hero’s trials and tribulations, sometimes absurdly irrealistic.
