  visually stunning. traumatizing. beautifully haunting. harrowing tale of the colonial-inflicted wounds and emotions children carry into their adulthood.

  The red when the elevator opens up is a chef’s kiss shot. very reminiscent of the use of colors in Christopher Doyle’s cinematography in hero with Jet Li (2002).  

  the indigenous trans community he meets who martyr themselves for the cause along with him is so so poignant.
