  Last night I finally got around to watching a film that has been on my shelf for a few years. Ferat Vampire (aka Der AutoVampir) is a Czechoslovakian film released in 1982. Juraj Herz who directed the Czech classic The Cremator (1969) was also the director here.

  Last night I visited the Ray Dennis Steckler box and watched The Hollywood Strangler Meets the Skid Row Slasher (1979). Didn't really know what I was getting myself into but had mixed emotions ultimately afterwards.
  It's ultimately a silent movie, there are background noises and music, that is narrated by Steckler himself. Surprisingly, that aspect worked for me just fine. The movie itself is exactly what the title implies and delivers on it. There are lots of kills and nudity…
