Friday the 13th 1980
This is a horror classic, and I thought it was solid. It was very slowly paced, and despite only being like an hour and a half, it felt much longer. The vibe was cool and the ending was pretty fun, but there were long sequences in the movie that just felt kinda drawn out. the soundtrack felt pretty generic outside of the "ch ch ch a a a" thing which is really cool. Still a fun classic with some great horror elements.

Garden State 2004
This was an interesting film to watch, as I feel like it touched on a lot of themes regarding adulthood and life as a young adult. I enjoyed it, even if someone of the narrative choices weren't super imaginative. While I understand the criticism that it relies on many devices that are now considered tropes, there is a still a really heartfelt coming-of-age story beneath it all too.

Red Notice 2021
Fun easy to watch heist movie. Nothing you haven’t seen before but enjoyable and well paced. Obviously isn’t reinventing the wheel but also does a good job keeping things moving. The twist at the end is awful though. It’s so contrived and nothing from earlier in the movie lines up w it. Still fun but didn’t need the weird twist at the end.
