Watched on a plane ride —obviously not an ideal setting to see a film, but I think it ended up being the best case scenario. It’s hard to watch a man who knows he is going to die, and actively participate in his own demise. Heavy stuff. The ending makes it all worth it.
Brendan Fraser is fantastic.
Worth watching, but proceed with caution.
Beautiful film. Leo and Remi brought me back to being a boy entering adolescence and the experiences that come with that time of life — evolving friendships, fear of the unknown, peer pressure, inability to fully express/understand complex emotions, clinging to what is comfortable, experiencing change.
The film evoked real emotions for me like only a few have before. I would recommend it to anyone.
