this was fun to watch, I liked the energy and how slapstick-ish it was. A pop star trying her thing with acting with Keke Palmer who is an actress I LOVE ahh I love women so much, it was actually cute and I had great giggles
Not a movie to take seriously I'd say, for once, but as an artist with few savings and kind of an artist too I liked having such type of movie to see.
Overall, its really simply a funny dumb but cute movie about two bestfriends and their mess of a life.
totally confused about how i feel after watching this. This seems like a movie written by a white man directed towards "the girls" but it actually only left me with the male-gaze perspective towering over Ani; was it supposed to represent? Maybe there are people feeling seen by this movie, im glad if its the case but was it actually a good one? At first, we have a strong female lead and then she seems portrayed as naive and hopeful…

i cried. It's all grotesque but not in the "haha" way to me, it's deep (I might sound silly and wanna-be-smart but it's just my point of view), it took all of me in and threw me around to think about how far someone can go for self-hatred (and how the society can influence it, and make you eat and eat what they want you to consume).
A lot of gore body horror, but how disgusting and repulsive to watch (not only because of the bloody scenes but also from the symbolism behind it) I love it
