  So I’ll admit my Sonic knowledge is limited to the previous two movies and watching a play through of the notorious Sonic 06, but I still enjoyed the prior two movies due to a clear love for the source material and fun performances.

  The Wild Robot 2024

  Very charming movie about a robot that lands on an island of talking animals and sets out to essentially live with them after setting a new core task.

  The interactions with the robot and the animals is fun, as they inevitably come to accept the robot as one of their own.

  Definitely plenty of heartwarming moments throughout and the animation is flat out great.

  The last act adds some action sections that might not have been needed as it was doing just fine as a more down to Earth story, but that’s ultimately a minor gripe for me, as this is very well made stuff.
