Horrible movie, absolutely loved it
This was just propaganda to recruit more F-150 haters!! Couldn’t STAND Kyle or ~Fred~. ALSO physics went out the window when a prius flipped a mini-van?!?
Silver lining: they mentioned a butterfinger blizzard which led to us immediately pausing the movie for a DQ run. This ended up taking 45 minutes bc it was free cone day??
1. Too much singing
2. So many scenes I didn’t remember (maybe my attention span is getting better with age?). But I enjoy it more every time!
3. Some characters seemed flat compared to first two movies. They could’ve added depth but played to expectations instead, which felt a little cheap
4. Story of a century. Overall phenomenal adaptation
“Tricksy hobbitses…” Show me any character that’s as tortured (yet lovable) as Sméagol, you can’t
Some unforgivable VFX decisions in an otherwise perfect movie. It’d be one thing if they just hadn’t aged well, but I doubt that orbiting Gandalf / emo Galadriel ever looked good
