Rambo 4 is by far the grittiest film in the series. The movie follows a more realistic story than the previous installments, which both helps and hurts it. The plot is interesting, and the fight scenes are brutal, which makes it enjoyable to watch. However, it lacks the characters and consistency of the previous three movies, causing the film to not feel like a Rambo movie. Overall, however, the ending was satisfying, and the movie was decent.
