  To begin, he manipulates beautiful forms of imagery and sound production to convey the idea of this chain reaction theme. The film starts off by showing Oppy looking at a puddle and seeing the ripples in the water. This image is shown several more times throughout the film and it actually ends on that note and visual. Has he started a chain reaction even though the atmosphere remains unlit?
