  Shoudn't have been made, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Incestual themes were a smidge less prominent in this one compared to the og, but at 87 Ridley Scott probs isn't as sharp as he once was so i'll let it slide.

  a movie that becomes very self-aware and doesn't fall on that same sword. it's funny, jazzy, with a super tight cast (don't ask me what a tight cast is its just how i felt).

  side note - Jeffrey Wright's voice feels like a weighted blanket for my soul.

  … were just some of the thoughts going through my weary brain as all of my senses were getting repeatedly assaulted. 4 stars.
