  This is one of those movies for me that’s actually more rare than a movie that I immediately adore, that it’s just mostly in the middle for me. 

  It’s funny, it’s funny horror — it’s what Jordan peele tries to do in his movies, with moments of comedy that’s actually funny instead of some Reddit tier forced laugh moment. 

  Kind of expecting it would be more creepy like the other King movies, but honestly not that bad. Would watch it at home w some friends when it comes out on streaming etc etc

  A24 Films have a really bad tendency to be either really good or wholly unwatchable.

  The idea of a civil war in the states is a concept that really interested me, especially what that would have looked like in a modern setting, that’s missing the backstory of how the union even got to that point in the first place. 

  What we got was a boring, eye rolling character odyssey of 3 annoying and uninteresting war photographers and a stupid ass…
