Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Even while Sandra is suspected of the murder, her son Daniel needs her, and she needs Daniel. Even with the possibility of her committing the worst crime that could happen, she is a family member, a mom. The movie tears me up in that it’s not about the trial, but it’s about family. And how genuine she is towards Daniel made me envy her and her family, despite the tragedies they have been through. The movie speaks up to say we cannot name someone in a single word; a person is named through genuine comings and goings and through her loved ones.
