Very well done, I think. I guess I wish they would’ve gone into the specifics on how he really changed up the jazz scene, but with the limited run time, I understand why they didn’t!
Lover Man is one of my favorite records of his. When they went into that session here, I honestly was shocked to hear how it went down, considering how phenomenally he still played despite everything.
