  Andrey Zvyagintsev has been on my radar for a long time, especially this film. 

  I finally got around to it, and I really liked it. It was as good as I expected it to be.

  Really bleak and raw, and refreshing and honest. Great performances throughout, along with really memorable cinematography, also really well written.

  I’ve loved Russian cinema for a long time and this has just strengthened my love for it. Excited to see what else Andrey has to offer.
