  there are philip and elizabeth jennings everywhere for those who never moved on from fx’s the americans to see… soderbergh arguing that in the face of politics, factions, and national allegiances, all you have in the end is who you go home to. which i think is a much needed refutation of two of the most odious types of people in society today: ideologues and polyamorists.
