The dominoes ultimately fall a little too easily, but the fact they can even be arranged so compellingly in a contemporary setting is surprising and encouraging.
I mean, this is probably the best new release set in the current day since what, Top Gun Maverick? Maybe the final Tarantino film doesn’t have to be a period piece.

The moment the incessant narration stopped, this went from subpar to good. And then when it started again, back to subpar.
We’re finally leaving laugh tracks on the past, when will we think better of narration as well?
However, Mark Ruffalo is great throughout.

Trying to put into words what I liked about this feels like what I would imagine it’s like trying to recall an erased memory. I’m not exactly sure why, but this felt deeply meaningful to me.

Terrible. Ostensibly a movie made for children, with comedic premises built around simple misunderstandings and even some slapstick physical comedy. Some parts even reminded me of something like Air Bud.
But on the other hand they say fuck numerous times so it’s really unclear who this is for.
