  This is a fascinating follow-up to Parasite because it firmly plants Parasite as a one-off. Bong Joon-Ho just really likes to make slightly campy, semi-comedy allegorical social commentary sci fi shit. He just made Parasite to flex on us, to say “hey. y’all. if i wanted to make the greatest movie of all time i could. just let me have Robert Pattinson and Jake Gyllenhaal do silly shit, okay?”

  Mickey 17 is a return to form of sorts for Bong, where this film…

  I have never pogged more in a film holy actual Christ
