passion and obsession are inherently irrational and opposes a lot of modern day advice such as detachment and self-sufficiency. logic and reasoning is fundamental and vital but i loathe when it is applied to the fervor of the heart.

watched with friends. i had no idea how intertwined it really was to the wizard of oz. didn’t even fully understand it until my friend broke it down piece by piece for 20 minutes after. i’ve heard the songs before but didn’t know it was from wicked. i enjoyed it. i fail to see arianna grande as anyone besides ariana grande when she acts and that kinda messes with my immersion
