Wicked 2024
Most people who have watched this movie would think that they could've made the colors livelier and I couldn't agree more ESPECIALLY knowing that it is a spin-off (sequel?) of one of the most vibrant movies of all time.
But yes aside from that one obvious thing, I just want to say I loved everything about this movie. It's always such a delight to finally see a proper film adaptation of a musical I had only watched through YouTube slime…

Lake Mungo 2008
Lake Mungo just hits the right spot. It doesn’t rely on jump scares or loud music to freak you out—instead, it just shows you these eerie, grainy images of ghosts caught on an old 2000s camera. At first, I didn’t think it scared me, but the more I stared at those distorted, spectral images, the more my imagination twisted them into something even more unsettling. It’s the kind of horror that sneaks up on you.
It really is such a ghost story and I get it now why a lot of horror enthusiasts still recommend it to this day.

Lost and Delirious 2001
it was ok in the first half just a harmless lesbian teen drama then piper perabo started spewing weird quotes and raised a hawk out of nowhere and said "sucky suck" and "girly girl" in one sentence and i didn't stop laughing since
edit: i admit. i enjoyed watching this

The Medium 2021
it would have been way scarier if they stuck with the shamanistic themes. i was expecting an exploration of thai's occult practices and supernatural mythos through the lense of horror. sadly all i received was a dragging possession story. really wished there was more to this movie tbh.
